Advance Community Center began serving the community in 2016 with a simple mission: to improve lives through compassion, service, and community support. What started as a small effort to help those in need has grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting food insecurity, promoting healthy living, and connecting individuals and families with essential resources.

Norberto Fonseca and Wanda Ríos are the founders of Advance Community Center, driven by a commitment to meeting the needs of vulnerable populations, they have led the organization's growth from a local outreach initiative into a trusted community resource serving thousands of people each year across Florida and Puerto Rico.

Wanda has devoted her career to helping people improve their health, mobility, and overall quality of life. Her professional experience gave her firsthand insight into the physical, emotional, and social challenges faced by older adults and vulnerable individuals, inspiring her commitment to community service.

Norberto Fonseca is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Advance Community Center. Under his leadership, Advance Community Center has grown into a trusted nonprofit serving thousands of individuals and families each year throughout Florida and Puerto Rico. His commitment to innovation and collaboration has led to the development of programs that include a Certified Nutritious Food Pantry, senior services, community resource navigation, health education, and large-scale food distribution initiatives.
